 Dr. Chess, the center's physician director, specializes in laser surgery for skin rejuvenation, treatment of wrinkles, broken capillaries, brown spots, facial redness, acne and chicken pox scars, red or raised scars, tattoos, stretch marks, warts, birthmarks, hair removal, acne, psoriasis, and other skin irregularities. Dr. Chess has performed thousands of laser procedures, treating patients with lasers on a daily basis since 1981. Internationally recognized for his published research on laser treatment, Dr. Chess is a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and is Board Certified in dermatology. Several U.S. patents have been awarded to Dr. Chess for laser related inventions.
The Dermatologic Laser Center of Connecticut is equipped with a variety of different permanently installed state-of-the-art lasers for the best treatment available for a wide variety of conditions. Patients are not limited to treatments with portable lasers, and appointments are available on Saturdays, evenings, and regular weekday hours beginning at 9 a.m. A telephone information line is available when the office is closed. Dr. Chess consults with all patients prior to treatment to explain the procedural options completely and to make sure all the patient's questions have been answered. The Dermatologic Laser Center of Connecticut is conveniently located in Norwalk, just off Exit 16 on 1-95.
